DON HEUPEL/FOR THE record IMPACT: A grid painting of Malala Yousufzai by Kenmore East high school students is on display in the corridor at the school in Tonawanda, N.Y. Yousufzai was near fatally shot in the head by the Taliban for her outspoken views on education. Students separated parts of the painting into grids, completing their own sections and then assembling them to create the full portrait of Malala's face.
