Making his second national radio appearance of the week at 2 p.m. Sunday, Purple Eagles coach Joe Mihalich will be a guest on ESPN Radio's Gamenight program. Locally the spot can be heard on WGR 550 AM. ESPN Radio is also available on satellite services Sirius and XM.

Mihalich will also tape a segment for Fox Sports Net on Monday in Chicago. Joining Indiana's Kelvin Sampson, Nortre Dame's Mike Brey and South Illinois' Chris Lowery, Mihalich will participate in a coaches roundtable breaking down the NCAA brackets. The program will air at 3 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

An earlier blog post originally incorrectly said that Sunday's Selection Show party would be held at Dwyer Arena. The gathering at Taps Gallagher Center, detalied below, will begin at 4 p.m.

Fans invited to Selection Sunday party


March 7

Niagara University will host a party Sunday night at Taps Gallagher Center to watch CBS unveil the NCAA Tournament pairings.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship game will be replayed at 4:30 p.m. CBS’ selection show airs at 6 p.m., at which time Niagara will find out its first-round opponent and game location.

Tickets to Sunday’s event can be acquired in person between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Dwyer.

Niagara also announced that an allotment of 550 tickets for the first session will be offered to donors and season ticket holders. Any remaining tickets will be made availalbe to the public Tuesday.
