Newton a home run for TCSD

Tonawanda News — Perhaps the most important decision a school board will ever make is the choice of a superintendent. With their selection of Dr. James Newton to lead the district, the City of Tonawanda Board of Education has hit a home run.

Congratulations to Dr. Newton. As usual when he is concerned, expectations are high. I am confident he will meet them.

Thank you also to the board members for the time and care they dedicated to this matter, as well as all the other important decisions they make on behalf of the citizens of Tonawanda. I, for one, appreciate their selfless dedication to our community. I am sure I am not alone in this sentiment.

Kevin R. Hardwick
