I am a member of the anti-war group that peacefully assembles in front of the Armed Forces Recruiting offices on Sheridan Drive.
We are a group that practices nonviolence. However, we have not been strangers to threats, obscene gestures and general harassment from military recruiters as well as a group of people who are provided with food and parking spaces by these same recruiters.
It is sad that some who claim to believe in democracy do not realize that dissent is democratic.
