BLOTTER: Police reports published July 24

City of Tonawanda

WARRANT: Charles P. Lipka, 2629 Clinton St., West Seneca, was arrested on a warrant Wednesday for petit larceny, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was held for court.

DWI: Anthony M. Harrington, 23, 143 Orchard Drive, Town of Tonawanda, was arrested early Thursday for aggravated DWI, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without inspection, unsafe turn, failure to signal and speeding. Officers had dealt with an intoxicated Harrington on two occasions before his car was stopped near the intersection of South Elmwood Ave. and Hill Street. He allegedly refused a cab ride police suggested after they were called to an incident involving Harrington at the Dome Stadium bar. Harrington began his evening at the Canal Fest beer tent in North Tonawanda before moving to at least two other bars. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.23 percent, almost three times the legal limit. He was held for court.

DISORDERLY: Ryan D. Celotto, 19, 6343 Robinson Road, was arrested at Canal Fest Wednesday for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol by a person less than 21. He was held for court.

DRUGS: Michael A. Labarbara, 48, 89 Sheffield St., Buffalo, was arrested Wednesday evening for possession of marijuana at Canal Fest.

“He was smoking marijuana by the kids’ rides,” Police Lt. Fred Foels said.

Labarbara was released after being issued an appearance ticket.

HARASSMENT: Todd A. Beyer, 28, 2081 Tonawanda Creek Road, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly head-butting another male in the “I Got It” tent at Canal Fest. He is charged with second-degree harassment resulting from the altercation and was released after being issued an appearance ticket.

DISORDERLY: Sean Price, 17, 558 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, was arrested Wednesday for urinating in public at Canal Fest, near 4 Main St. He is also charged with disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol by a person younger than 21. Price was released after being issued an appearance ticket.

DISORDERLY: Two men were arrested Wednesday evening for disorderly conduct near the corner of Adam and Seymour streets.

Dominic W. Delucia, 22, 512 Tonawanda St., Apt. 1, Buffalo and Corey J. Willis, 21, 218 Morgan St., were each released after being issued an appearance ticket.

DRUGS: Patrick M. Nobilio, 17, 54 Rockland Road, Town of Tonawanda, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at Canal Fest for possession of marijuana. He was released after being issued an appearance ticket.



North Tonawanda

SEX ABUSE: Mark E. Price, 50, 30 Rose Circle, was arrested Wednesday for two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He was held for court.

DISORDERLY: Richard W. King, 51, 495 River Road, was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with disorderly conduct. He is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

ENDANGERING: Daniel D. Perrington, 29, 22 Ridgedale Circle, was arrested Wednesday for endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

HARASSMENT: Janet R. Wilhelm, 48, 58 Ganson St., was arrested for second-degree harassment. He is being held in lieu of $100 bail.



Town of Tonawanda

CONTEMPT: Richard J. Kazmierczak was charged with criminal contempt after allegedly disobeying an order of protection at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Kazmierczak was held for court.

DWI: Olga Fushchich was charged with DWI and speeding at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday. Fushchich was stopped for speeding when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Fushchich allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.11 percent blood alcohol content. Fushchich was held for court.

DWI: Kenneth M. Gardner was charged with DWI, moving from a lane unsafely and making an improper right turn at 3:08 a.m. Wednesday. Gardner was stopped for weaving when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Gardner allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.13 percent blood alcohol content. Gardner was held for court.

DISORDERLY: Ashley L. Schmitt was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:49 a.m. Wednesday. Schmitt was charged after police observed her running from an area where garbage totes had been moved into the street to block traffic, according to reports. Schmitt was released on an appearance ticket.
