Tonawanda News — Three year sentence for child porn

A Tonawanda man will spend the next three years in federal prison after being convicted of child pornography possession.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard Arcara also sentenced Anthony F. Amato, Jr., 40, to five years of post-release supervision.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, who handled the case, stated that on Dec. 17, 2007, a search warrant was executed at the defendant’s residence. Officers found three videos and 17 images of child pornography on a computer and disks. He obtained the videos and images over the Internet.
