IMPERSONATION: Brandon C. Walp, 25, 3990 Irish Road, Wilson, was arrested Sunday for criminal impersonation and false personation following a traffic stop. Police say Walp tried to hide his identity because of an active warrant in Amherst. He was turned over to Amherst police and is being held here in lieu of $500 bail.
DWI: Kristin A. Soro, 28, 253 Rosemont Ave., Kenmore, was arrested Sunday for DWI, speeding, and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle. She was stopped after police say she was traveling 40 mph on Delaware Street around 4 a.m. Soro’s blood alcohol content was found to be 0.16 percent. She was held for court.
DRUGS: Carlos M. McGill, 30, 2819 Logandale Drive, Orlando, Fla., was arrested Saturday for possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and no seat belt. He was turned over to Buffalo Police on a separate warrant.
HARASSMENT: Christina M. Oshei, 31, 302 Baynes St., Apt. 2, Buffalo was arrested Saturday on a warrant for second-degree harassment and trespassing. She was released after being issued an appearance ticket.

DRUGS: Joseph J. DeStefano was charged at 12:46 p.m. Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police responding to a call of an overdose found DeStefano slumped over at his kitchen table with a small plastic bag and a syringe in front of him, according to reports. DeStefano allegedly admitted to using heroin and was released at a hospital on an appearance ticket.
CONTEMPT: Michael J. Finlayson was charged at 6 a.m. Sunday with criminal contempt and trespassing. Finlayson allegedly set off a burglar alarm at a convenience store that has an order of protection against him. He was held for court.
ADWI: Robert G. Praties was charged at 9:31 p.m. Saturday with aggravated DWI and failure to keep right. Praties was stopped for weaving and hitting a curb when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Praties allegedly failed field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.24 percent blood alcohol content. Praties was held for court.
ADWI: Michael J. Rzepa was charged at 8:17 p.m. Saturday with aggravated DWI and drinking in a motor vehicle on a highway. Rzepa was questioned after running his car into a ditch when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Rzepa allegedly failed field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.18 percent blood alcohol content. Rzepa was held for court.
STOLEN CAR: Lee H. Dabney was charged at 10:15 p.m. Saturday with unauthorized use of a vehicle. Dabney’s girlfriend called police to file a complaint after he didn’t return with her car, according to reports. Dabney was located at a local restaurant and held for court.
DWI: Robert K. Bradley was charged at 8:21 a.m. Saturday with DWI. Bradley was discovered asleep at a traffic light when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Bradley allegedly failed field sobriety tests and refused a chemical breath test. Bradley was held for court.
DWI: John A. Thom III was charged at 3:34 a.m. Saturday with DWI. Thom was stopped after a caller told police he was leaving the bar drunk when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Thom allegedly failed field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.16 percent blood alcohol content. Thom was held for court.
DWI: Anthony M. Musilli was charged at 3:09 a.m. Saturday with DWI, failure to keep right and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Musilli was stopped for weaving when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Musilli allegedly failed field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.16 percent blood alcohol content. Musilli was held for court.

CHARGED: Alexander T. Skupien, 18, 1459 Forbes St., North Tonawanda, was charged Sunday with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, inadequate windshield wipers, no seat belt, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and tinted side windows. The patrol made a traffic stop at 2:10 a.m. on Luther Street for side-wing tint violation. According to the report, there was a strong odor of marijuana and the patrol saw ashes on Skupien’s lap. Skupien reached in his center console and handed patrol a plastic sandwich bag containing green leafy vegetable type matter. It weighed more than 25 grams and field-tested positive for marijuana. Skupien allegedly said, “I just got that from Niagara Falls, for a concert me and my buddies are going to. It cost me 200 buckaroos. Any chance of letting bygones be bygones, and you giving it back?” He was placed under arrest and given an appearance ticket for a Feb. 23 court date.
