City of Tonawanda
WARRANT: Thomas Lignos, 51, 259 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear. He is being held in lieu of $300 bail.
WARRANT: Carlo Larussa, 21, 215 Robert Drive, North Tonawanda, surrendered Monday on a warrant for obstructing government administration and criminal mischief. The warrant was removed from the system.
Town of Lockport
ASSAULT: The Crisis Intervention Team responded to a complaint at Wyndham Lawn School after the principle contacted the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office about a student who had allegedly assaulted a teacher during eighth-period biology class. The teacher told deputies Tuesday that the student became enraged, picked up a chair and threw it at her, striking her in the back of the neck. The student reportedly continued to throw other items at her, including a flower pot. Deputies arrested the student on charges of criminal mischief with the intent to damage property, third-degree menacing and second-degree reckless endangerment.
