BLOTTER: Police reports published Oct. 27


City of Tonawanda

LARCENY: Timothy J. Wisniewski, 44, 48 Ganson St., North Tonawanda, was arrested Sunday for shoplifting at Tops on Niagara Street. He was released after being issued an appearance ticket.

DWI: Peter J. Henderson, 25, 7481 Centerport Road, Auburn, was arrested Sunday for DWI, possession of marijuana, driving on the shoulder and driving left of pavement markings. He was held for court.

Town of Tonawanda

DWI: Gary D. Drake was charged with felony DWI and running a red light at 12:43 a.m. Sunday. Drake was stopped for running a red light when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Drake allegedly failed three of five field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.20 percent blood alcohol content. He was also found to have a previous DWI conviction. Drake was held for court.

LARCENY: Scott A. Klosterman was charged with petit larceny at 10:10 a.m. Saturday. Klosterman allegedly admitted to stealing scrap metal, then dumping the stolen items at a Dumpster because he feared being found out. Klosterman was released on an appearance ticket.

DWI: Sukdeep Singh was charged with DWI and failure to yield at 3:54 a.m. Saturday. Singh was stopped after a near miss with a police cruiser when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Singh allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and refused a chemical breath test. Singh was held for court.
