BLOTTER: Police reports published Oct. 29


Town of Tonawanda

DWI: Neal R. Giomundo was charged with DWI, moving from a lane unsafely and a muffler violation at 1 a.m. Wednesday. Giomundo was stopped for weaving and having a loud muffler when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Giomundo allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.13 percent blood alcohol content. Giomundo was held for court.

IMPERSONATION: Taihek D. Quarles was charged with criminal impersonation and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle at 7:51 p.m. Tuesday. Quarles allegedly gave a fake name to police when stopped to avoid being arrested on warrants out of Amherst and Cheektowaga. Quarles was held for court.



Kenmore

WARRANT: Augustin Melendez, 39, 1347 Sheridan Drive, was arrested on a warrant for criminal contempt at 7:20 p.m. Saturday. Melendez is being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.

ASSAULT: Heather M. Wheeler, 26, 2020 Gibson St., City of Tonawanda and Shawna Bacon, 27, 2268 Center Terrace, Grand Island, were charged with third-degree assault and Daniel M. Casillas, 26, 2020 Gibson St., City of Tonawanda, was charged with second-degree menacing and criminal possession of a weapon at 1:59 a.m. Saturday. Wheeler and Bacon allegedly punched and slapped two other women in a Kenmore apartment while Casillas held others at bay with a .45 caliber pistol, according to reports. All three were held for court.



Royalton

DWI: Thomas E. Fleming, 55, 394 Bennett Street, North Tonawanda, was charged with first-degree driving while intoxicated. On Wednesday, patrol reportedly stopped Fleming on Akron Road for failure to keep right in a two-lane road. Upon interviewing the suspect, deputies detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Fleming failed all sobriety tests. Bail of $250 was set for Fleming.
