An investigation is continuing with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office in a motor vehicle accident that injured four early Friday morning.
Daniel Hernandez, 24, of Buffalo was driving southbound on Niagara Falls Boulevard near Ward Road when he made a left hand turn in front of another vehicle driving northbound at 7:22 a.m., deputies said.
According to a police report, Hernandez said the sun was in his eyes, along with another vehicle in front of him obstructing his view.
The driver of the other vehicle, Kelsey Broadley, 17, Wheatfield, had two other passengers in her car including a 13-year-old family member in the front seat and 17-year-old, Kayla Jones of Wheatfield in a back seat.
All three in the Broadley vehicle were transported to Women and Children’s Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Hernandez was transported to Degraff with minor injuries.
Niagara County Sheriffs, St. Johnsburg Fire Co., Tri-Community Ambulance, Shawnee Fire Co. and Rural Metro Ambulance were at the scene.
