Hit and run driver gets jail time

Andrea Glinski, who confessed to a March hit and run accident in Amherst, has been sentenced to 1 to 3 years in jail. She’s also on the hook for more than $2,000 in fines. The Town of Tonawanda woman left the scene after striking Amy Stewart and Rachel Baird near Daemen College. Both had severe injuries and Stewart is still recovering. In her statement read at the sentencing, Stewart called Glinski a coward who left the two women to die.
