NT FOOTBALL: Jacks break Section VI record

ORCHARD PARK — ORCHARD PARK -- The North Tonawanda Lumberjacks won the Section VI Class AA final in convincing fashion Saturday evening at Ralph C. Wilson Stadium. Steve Kijowski had four touchdowns and Joe Montesanti had three as the Lumberjacks have set a new Section VI championship record with their 54 points. Final score: NT 54, Lancaster 7. NT eclipsed the previous record of 53 points, which Iroquois scored in the 2006 title game. The Jacks will play in Rochester next Saturday in the Far West Regionals. They'll take on Webster-Schroeder, a big winner over Gates-Chili in the Section V Class AA title game.
