BLOTTER: Police reports published November 25


North Tonawanda

WARRANT: Ashley R. Vandermark, 18, 5835 Dunnigan Road, Lockport, was arrested on a warrant for grand larceny at 1:17 p.m. Monday and held for court.

City of Tonawanda

WARRANT: Amy L. Chapman, 25, 399 Young St., surrendered on a warrant for felony grand larceny at 10:09 a.m. Tuesday. Chapman allegedly confessed to stealing more than $1,200 from an elderly man while she was employed cleaning his house. Chapman was held for court.

BURGLARY: Jeremy D. Daves, 24, 133 Adam St., and Jeffery C. Alexander, 24, 60 Cleveland St., were charged with felony burglary, petit larceny, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing at 7:26 p.m. Monday. The two men allegedly stole a mayonnaise jar full of change out of a Young Street business. They are both being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

WARRANT: James K. Blair, 48, 38 Delwood Road, Kenmore, was arrested on a bench warrant for petit larceny at 1:13 a.m. Tuesday and held for court.

Town of Tonawanda

WARRANT: Alex Oliveras was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:15 a.m. Monday. Oliveras was arrested while town police aided Buffalo police in executing a high-risk warrant, according to reports. Oliveras allegedly had a large bag of crack cocaine and a bag of marijuana in his pockets. He was held for court.

DWI: Steven J. Ralston was charged with DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana at 4:57 a.m. Sunday. Ralston was stopped for speeding when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Ralston allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and submitted blood and urine for drug testing. Ralston is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

DWI: Eugene R. Barr was charged with DWI, speeding and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation at 11:20 p.m. Saturday. Barr was stopped for speeding when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Barr allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and refused a chemical breath test. Barr is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

DWI: Demetrios Papavramidis was charged with DWI, unsafe turn and littering at 3:15 a.m. Sunday. Papavramidis was stopped for turning without a signal and throwing a lit cigarette out his window when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Papavramidis allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.16 percent blood alcohol content. Papavramidis was held for court.

DWI: Edward D. Storer was charged with DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to keep right and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the roadway at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Storer was stopped for weaving when the officer detected the odor of alcohol and marijuana, according to reports. A search of the vehicle turned up a bag of marijuana and two open beer cans. Storer allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.14 percent blood alcohol content. He was held for court.
