City of Tonawanda
• DWI: Timothy J. Wittkopp, 20, 240 Edward St., North Tonawanda, was charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle while on the highway at 12:40 a.m. Sunday. Wittkopp was stopped for driving on the sidewalk after an improper turn when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Wittkopp allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.11 percent blood alcohol content, according to reports. A tin foil pipe with marijuana inside was discovered upon a further search of the vehicle, according to reports. Wittkopp was held for court.
North Tonawanda
• DWI: Salvatore A. Lima, 410 Aurora St., Lancaster, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana at 8:22 p.m. Saturday. Lima is being held in lieu of $500 bail.
• ASSAULT: David E. Yeager, 25, 38 5th Avenue, was charged with third-degree assault following a domestic incident at 8:59 a.m. Sunday. Yeager was held for court.
• MENACING: Robert W. Flynn, 24, 122 Cramer St., was charged with third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and second-degree unlawful imprisonment following a domestic incident at 5:58 a.m. Sunday. Flynn was held for court.
• BURGLARY: Christapher A. Liest, 384 Schenck St., was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 4:44 a.m. Sunday. Liest was held for court.
