BLOTTER: Police reports published Sept. 29

City of Tonawanda

• DRUGS: James J. White, 20, 878 Hertel Ave., Buffalo and Jeremy R. Tapia, 18, 186 Grace St., Buffalo, were arrested Saturday evening and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Both men were released on appearance tickets.

• TRESPASSING: David B. Malinowski, 16, 138 Ninth Ave., North Tonawanda, was arrested along with three other juveniles Saturday afternoon after patrol responded to their presence at the former Spaulding Fibre site. Malinowski was charged with possession of a graffiti instrument as well as third-degree criminal trespassing. He was released on an appearance ticket. The three juveniles were each issued tickets to appear in family court.

• DRUGS: David R. Schanne, 52, 3071 Delaware Ave., Apt. 6, Kenmore, was arrested after police noticed him leaving a house, and upon searching the man, found he was in possession of a substance containing crack cocaine. Schanne is being held for a judge.

North Tonawanda

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Joshua M. Ortiz, 17, 286 Roncroff Drive, was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with disorderly conduct. He is being held in lieu of $100 bail.

• DWI: Christine E. Ash, 29, 558 Oliver St., lower, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with DWI. Police reports state she was arrested after failing field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent. She is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Robert C. Hy Jr., 27, 233 Miller St., was arrested Saturday and charged with disorderly conduct. Police reports state he was arrested after causing a “loud disturbance” on East Goundry Street. He is being held in lieu of $100 bail.
