Del-Ton Key Bank robbed on Christmas Eve
Town of Tonawanda police are searching for a man who robbed the Key Bank on Delaware Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, Christmas Eve.
Police say a white male in his mid-30s to mid-40s passed a note to a bank teller and left with an undetermined amount of cash.
“The teller was a little shaken, but she did a good job following bank procedures,” said Detective Jeff Campanella.
No weapon was displayed during the robbery, and no one was injured, Campanella said. The robber fled in an unknown direction.
The bank is located on Delaware Avenue, right near the Town of Tonawanda-City of Tonawanda border.
North Tonawanda
TRESPASS: Jonathan F. Simon, 20, 1337 Tanglewood Drive, was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with trespassing. He was released on his own recognizance.
DWI: Jason C. Ingalsbe, 24, 151 Fernwood Ave., Grand Island, was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, reckless driving and running a stop sign. Police reports state his blood alcohol content was found to be 0.21 percent. He is being held in lieu of $750 bail.
ENDANGERING CHILD: Dennis M. Wetzler, 17, 46 Rockland Ave., Clarence, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing government administration. Wetzler is being held for a judge.
ENDANGERING CHILD: Adam J. Buzard, 17, 153 Sixth Ave., was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing government administration and criminal contempt. He was again arrested Wednesday and charged with violating his probation. Buzard is being held for a judge.

LARCENY: A Niagara Falls Boulevard man reported Sunday that he found his snowmobile, which he believed to have been stolen, at the El Casino Flea Market on Niagara Falls Boulevard. The snowmobile had been reported stolen Dec. 3 and was worth about $500. The man did not have paperwork for the snowmobile and could not prove the snowmobile was his, the report said. The flea market employee told deputies he found the snowmobile at another flea market in Cheektowaga. The employee offered to sell it to the man for $75, and both parties agreed to the transaction, the report said.
