BREAKING NEWS: Two of three overdose victims in Falls are from Twin Cities

Niagara Falls police have released the names of the three individuals whose bodies were found Saturday inside a Caravelle Drive home and two are from the Tonawandas.

The victims have been identified as Adam J. Tafelski, 22, of 23 Washington St., North Tonawanda, and Victoria A. Eikenburg, 25, of 10 Elmwood Park West, City of Tonawanda. The third victim was William B. Jakobi, 27, of 5694 Devlin Ave., Niagara Falls

The three individuals were found dead in a home at 1341 Caravelle Drive around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Niagara Falls police detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

Detective Captain Ernest Palmer said the causes of death are still not known and autopsies have been scheduled for today at ECMC. Palmer has previously indicated that based on the evidence at the scene there is a possibility that the cause of death may have been prescription drug overdose. Toxicology tests will be conducted and police say the results may take as long as six weeks to complete.
