Town of Tonawanda
NOISE: James D. Robinson was cited for a noise violation at 12:40 a.m. Friday. Robinson was issued an appearance ticket after neighbors complained of loud music.
City of Tonawanda
WARRANT: Brent E. Roper, 17 East Hill St., surrendered on a warrant for second-degree harassment. He was held for court.
DRUGS: David L. Forsyth, 26, 217 West Ave., Lockport, was arrested Monday for criminal possession of a controlled substance, concealing physical evidence, improper plate/registration, failure to keep right, speeding and improper left turn. He was pulled over near the corner of Broad and Delaware streets.
Police say they observed Forsyth reaching around in his car before coming up to the window and noticing a white powder around his mouth. Forsyth admitted to trying to eat several of the Loritab pills allegedly in his car. Police collected chemical evidence of the drug after Forsyth spit out some of what was in his mouth.
He was held for court.
CONTEMPT: Tammy L. Zitzka , 35, 61 Ellicott Creek Road, was arrested Sunday for disobeying a mandate. She was held for court.
ASSAULT: Laurie M. Putz, 33, was arrested for third-degree assault after an incident at 42 Delaware St. early Sunday.
A man was transported to DeGraff Memorial Hospital after Putz allegedly pushed him from the front porch of the home. Both are said to have been intoxicated at the time. The man was reported in serious but stable condition with bleeding on the brain.
Putz was released after being issued an appearance ticket.
North Tonawanda
DWI: Kurt A. Bars, 40, 93 North Marion St., was arrested Monday for DWI and an open container violation after he was stopped on Wheatfield Street. Bars refused a blood alcohol test. He is being held in lieu of $750 bail.
HARASSMENT: Samar T. Hamilton, 26, 3421 Ninth St., Niagara Falls, was arrested Sunday for second-degree harassment. He is being held in lieu of $100 bail.
HARASSMENT: Tad R. Moore, 43, 235 Oliver St., was arrested Sunday for second-degree harassment. He was held for court.
STOLEN PROPERTY: Randal T. Allen, 18, 71 Hagen St., was arrested Sunday for third-degree criminal mischief obstructing government administration and criminal possession of stolen property. He was held for court.
LARCENY: David S. Nelson, 20, 128 Vandervoort St., Apt. 3, was arrested Sunday for petit larceny. He was held for court.
DRUGS: Marguiex R. Lapierre, 16, 530 Euclid Ave., was arrested Monday for possession of marijuana. Lapierre was released after being issued an appearance ticket.
Wheatfield
SHOPLIFTING: Brian Anthony Emel, 24, 6022 W. Britton Road, Niagara Falls, was charged Saturday afternoon with petit larceny. Emel allegedly tried to steal a Sony DVD player worth about $70 from Sears on Williams Road. He was released on an appearance ticket.
