• SLIDESHOW: Mercy Flight called to Niagara Falls Boulevard crash Niagara County Sheriff’s crash investigators say it appears a ’97 Buick LeSabre northbound on the Boulevard crossed the center line and struck a southbound ’07 Dodge Caravan head-on. Investigators are still determining why the Buick crossed the center line. The 35-year-old driver of the Buick was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight where investigators say he is in critical condition with head injuries. The two occupants of the Dodge were taken to ECMC with minor injuries. The Sheriff’s Department did not release the names of the victims Wednesday night.
