The public is invited to view a completed model apartment at The Remington Lofts on the Canal, 184 Sweeney Street.
Currently the area’s most highly anticipated development for the economic impact it’s expected to help generate, the massive former factory boasts some 80 work/life lofts, defined as flexible spaces for a range of residential and/or business purposes.
Tom Barrett, director of development for the $20 million overhaul of the former factory building, said rents start around $1,500, but that a range of lease incentives are now being offered.
“The intent of the model is to show you one of the 12 floor plans on the property, but all of the units are finished to the same quality,” he said of the second-floor unit available for viewing.
Several anchor business tenants on the ground floor offer a range of services to residents and the community at large, including Leon’s Studio One hair salon and beauty school, Evolation yoga and wellness center, Liquid Energy juice bar and plans for a new restaurant.
The roughly 1,200 square-foot model apartment may be viewed by appointment only, by calling Heather Kleinfelder at: (716) 853-2787.
Pre-qualification is required. Forms can be sent to prospective tenants by calling Kleinfelder or by visiting www.kapts.com.
