ITALY, TX —
Lucy Ricker was born November 25, 1917 in Marshall, TX to Edmund and Lucile Daniel. She went home to be with the Lord March 19, 2013. She was 95. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Cecil Ledbetter, Edmund Daniel, Sarah Born and Clifton Daniel; and her grandson, Jason Ricker. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis Harry Ricker; and her three children, Lucy, Fred (Joyce) Ricker and Rose (Tony) Roy. She has three granddaughters, Andrea (Dave) Pierce, Hannah (Steve) Baehr and Christina Roy, and two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Kyrie Baehr; as well as many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Lucy was always active in her churches and in community programs such as PTA, Literacy Volunteers and the DAR. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Italy, TX.
Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Central Baptist Church in Italy, TX, with Rev. Joseph Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 PM Friday at the Scottsville Cemetery in Scottsville, TX. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Friday morning at Central Baptist Church in Italy. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
