Robert E. Hardy

NORTH TONAWANDA — Robert E. Hardy, age 74, of North Tonawanda, January 5, 2013, in Oakwood Nursing Home.  Robert was a former 30-year employee of Lawless Container.  He was a former member of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church (E. Felton St.) He was a member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Co.; he loved gardening and bowling.

Husband of Jean (nee Trinkwalder) Hardy. Father of Jill Mordick of Niagara Falls and Steven Hardy of Tonawanda. Grandfather of Pamela and Michael Mordick, Lucas, David and Joy Hardy.  Brother of Joan (Bud) Scheller and David Hardy, both of North Tonawanda and Mark Hardy of the Town of Tonawanda; uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, the Rev. Barbara Price will officiate. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorials may be made to the St. Johnsburg Fire Co.
