Stephanie Pachla

CANANDAIGUA — Stephanie Pachla (nee Kancar), age 93, passed away, peacefully, on January 5, 2013, in Canandaigua, NY. Prior to Canandaigua she lived in Schroon Lake, NY for several years, and for over 80 years she lived in North Tonawanda.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances (Plewak) Kancar; her husband, Albin; her brothers and sisters, Vera Bach, John Kancar, Stephen Kancar and Rosalie Civialier. She is survived by her children, David (Valerie) Pachla and Carol (Richard) Ramsey, along with grandchildren, Rebecca Anderson, Benjamin Pachla, Sarah LaPierre, Scott Ramsey and David F. Pachla; as well as seven great-grandchildren.

No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Czestochowa R.C. Church. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Schroon Lake Senior Center, 1108 US Rt. 9, Schroon Lake, NY 12870; or the Schroon Lake Emergency Squad, 28 Industrial Drive, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.
