Lois M. Moldenhauer

NORTH TONAWANDA —  

Lois M. (nee Broecker) Moldenhauer, age 89, of North Tonawanda, was given a heavenly mansion, through faith in Jesus Christ, on January 24, 2013. Lois taught Sunday School at St. Matthew Lutheran Church for 30 years. She was the founder of the Bible Brunch for over 50 consecutive years. She sang with the Senior Choir, served with the Ladies Guild and taught Vacation Bible School.
Beloved wife of the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer for almost 60 years. Loving mother of Philip (Lisa) Moldenhauer, Paul (Corleen) Moldenhauer, Deborah (Thomas) Hromowyk and Miriam Moldenhauer-Majewski (Gary Majewski). Grandmother of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of Mildred Broecker, Phyllis Broecker, Shirley Arnold and Burton Broecker.
The family will receive friends at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Dr., North Tonawanda on Friday from 5-8 PM and on Saturday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:30 PM from St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Private interment will take place at St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
