Jewell F. Summerville

NIAGARA FALLS —  

Jewell F. (Reynolds) Summerville, 79, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Yvonne Reynolds.
Jewell had many loves including cooking, baking, gardening, dancing and dogs. She was a caring and sensitive woman who loved to make others happy. She was a member of the Nash Road Free Methodist Church and of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Breen (fiance' Victor Fragale), North Tonawanda, NY and Rhodesa (Roger) Peace of Lockport, NY; and her two sons, Michael (Janet) Sample and George T. Woodley, Jr. (Jan) of Niagara Falls, NY. She is also survived by her brothers, Bruce (Joan) Reynolds, Charles (Faith) Reynolds, and her sister, Jeanette (Tom) Steele; and many nieces and nephews. She is the grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest Reynolds and Calvin Reynolds.
Jewell has unselfishly donated her body to UB for further development of medicine. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 4:30 PM at the Nash Road Free Methodist Church, 958 Nash Road, North Tonawanda NY. Pastor John Heinike will be officiating the service. Her ashes will be placed in Acacia Memorial Park, Pendleton at a later date.
