Norbert A. Burngasser

NORTH TONAWANDA — Norbert A. Burngasser, 84, entered into rest on December 30, 2012, after a long illness with heart disease. He was the son of Joseph and Louise Burngasser. Norbert lived most of his life in the Tonawanda's, NY, before moving to Cocoa, FL in 1996, with his wife, Rosemary.

He is survived by his eight children, Charles (Mary), Marlene (John) Wierda, Karen (Thomas) Garigen, Sandra (Michael) VanDewater, Cynthia, Laura (Mark) D'Orsaneo, Richard (Maureen) and Elizabeth (Timothy) Joyner. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, June (Vincent) Burngasser and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice and      Palliative Care, 8060 Spyglass Road, Viera, FL 32940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 16th, at 10 AM at Good Shepherd/St. Augustine Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd. North, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
