Robert A. Mileham

NORTH TONAWANDA — Robert A. Mileham, age 88, of Tonawanda, Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Tonawanda, he was the son of the late Thomas and Eleanora (nee Andres) Mileham and had been a lifelong resident of Tonawanda. A graduate of Tonawanda High School, he was an Army veteran of WWII and was the proprietor of the former Twin City Service Station on Main Street in North Tonawanda. Mr. Mileham was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Retired Men's Club, the Tonawanda Senior Citizens, the American Legion, Tonawandas Post No. 264, and the Last Man's Club at the Post. He was the husband of the late Nancy (nee Pullen) Mileham, who died in 2001; brother of the late James and Thomas Mileham; and dear friend of the late Dorothy Ellman.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (William) Stauffiger; two grandchildren, Lisa (Robert) Blinzer and William (Laura) Stauffiger; his sister, Marie McKinley; and three sisters-in-law, Norma and Beverly Mileham and Marion Pullen. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Shawn and Victoria; and many nieces and nephews.

There is no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 AM on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church, 149 Broad Street, Tonawanda. If desired, memorials to the church or the S.P.C.A. are preferred by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., Tonawanda.
