Daniel Jacob Hubman

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Daniel Jacob Hubman, 26, of Tonawanda, died Friday, October 12, 2012 in Virginia Beach, VA.  Born in Tonawanda, he was the son of Daniel and MaryAnn Hubman. Jake attended Tonawanda High School from 2000-2004, enlisting in the United States Navy immediately following graduation.  

Jake was well-respected and admired by friends and family. He was well-known for his generosity, kindness and sense of humor. Jake should be remembered as a man who loved his family, friends and his brothers. He was a man of faith who loved God and his country.

He is survived by his precious daughter, Milani Marie; parents, Dan and Mary Ann; sisters, Jenny and Catherine; nephew, Nicholas and niece, Kenzie; grandparents, Walt and Mickie; along with extended family.

Visiting hours will be Friday from 4:30-7:30 PM at the John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William Street, Tonawanda. The funeral service will be held Saturday, at 11 AM at the  funeral home, with the burial following at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Milani Hubman. Friends are also invited to join the family at Rizotto Restaurant in Amherst, 930 Maple Rd., (716)204-4455, Saturday following the burial.
