Joan G. Malinowski

FAIRPORT — Joan G. (nee Piotrowski) Malinowski of Fairport, NY, entered into eternal life on Friday, July 6, 2012 in her 94th year, at Rochester General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Mrs. Malinowski resided in North Tonawanda almost her entire life, except for the last year. She was a former employee of Columbus-McKinnon Co., Tonawanda and the Jenss Twin-Ton Store. Mrs. Malinowski was a member of DeGraff Hospital Auxiliary, longtime parishioner of the former Ascension R.C. Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Wife of the late Edwin B. Malinowski; dearest mother of Dennis (Patricia) Malinowski of Webster, NY and Wendy Joan (Richard) Ferrell of Leawood, KS; proud and loving grandmother of Jill Renee Malinowski of Long Beach, NY and John B. (fiancee' Julie Rockmaker) Malinowski of Buffalo, NY; dear sister of Felix Piotrowski of North Tonawanda and the late Josephine Korczynski, Walter Piotrowski, Mary Molnar, Frank Peterson and Helen Niemel. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on SUNDAY, July 8th from 2-5 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271).

Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on MONDAY at 9:30 AM. Entombment Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
