Phyllis M. Madole

NORTH TONAWANDA —  

Phyllis M. (nee Benson) Madole, age 73, of North Tonawanda, and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, died on Monday, November 5, 2012. Born in DuBois, PA, to the late Harry and Jean (Painter) Benson, she was the wife of John S. Madole, who died in 1980, and mother of Lynda Carson, who died in 2000. Phyllis was a 1957 graduate of Tonawanda High School. She attended Bryant & Stratton from 1957 to 1958, and received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Niagara County Community College in 1986. Phyllis had been employed as Court System Analyst in both North Tonawanda and the City of Tonawanda for more than 15 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Clarence Shooting Club and was Treasurer of CSEA Union for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra J. (Thomas Farmer) Close of Kenmore, NY; three grandchildren, Daniel Spencer Carson, Russell John Close, and Jordan Lynn Close; and one sister, Betty (Louis) Enzinna of Snyder, NY.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM only at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 9th at 10 AM. Friends invited. Pastor Dan Schifeling will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
