NORTH TONAWANDA —
Carol L. (nee Parker) LaPorte of North Tonawanda, age 78, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Mrs. LaPorte was born on July 23, 1934 in Versailles, NY, daughter of the late Burt and Dora Parker.
Carol was very proud of her heritage, she was a Cayugain of the Iroquois Nation. She was a graduate of the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her RN. Carol retired from both Buffalo General Hospital and from Chevy, where she worked as a registered nurse. Carol loved to play bingo.
Mother of Roger LaPorte, late Jon LaPorte; twins Alicia Pachla and late Allen LaPorte; grandmother of Lee Roy Barnett and Allen LaPorte, Jr.; sister of Bert Parker and Donna Proulx. Also predeceased by four sisters.
Friends may call on MONDAY from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow at 8 PM.
