NORTH TONAWANDA —
Russell A. Merrill, age 66, of North Tonawanda, passed away December 18, 2012 at the Rosa Coplon Home, Amherst, following a long fight with cancer. Mr. Merrill was born on September 11, 1946 in Buffalo, son of the late Kenneth and Frances Merrill.
Mr. Merrill retired from BJ's Wholesale Club in Tonawanda. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and very devoted to his faith in God.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Margaret Merrill (nee Wetzel); father of Timothy D. Merrill; brother of the late Bruce Merrill.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 2 PM in the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, 7375 Nash Road, North Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nash Road Kingdom Hall. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Rosa Coplon Nursing Home for treating Russ like family. Arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home.
