Randy Dean Mellenthine, age 58, of East Aurora, formerly of North Tonawanda, unexpectedly, December 20, 2012 in Buffalo Mercy Hospital. Randy worked as a bartender and waiter for many local restaurants in Western New York. He loved music and was a triple drummer for the Hamburg K Percussion Line.
Beloved husband of Diane (Barrie) Mellenthine; dear father of William Paul Mellenthine and Jessica Ann Mellenthine-Wyatt; stepfather of William (Anita) Fralick, James Fralick, Michael (Kristen) Fralick and Leah Rammacher; grandfather of Riley, Tristin, Kyran, Taylor, Mikayla and Madison; brother of Douglas (Sherry) Mellenthine of Batavia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda, Thursday from 1-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will begin at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
