Virginia Frankosky

NORTH TONAWANDA — Virginia (nee Proch) Frankosky, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life Friday,       January 4, 2013, in her 89th year, at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Frankosky was a retired employee of Continental Can Co. and a former employee of Wurlitzer Co. She was a member of the former O.L.C. Polish Choir and the former O.L.C. Altar Society. Mrs. Frankosky enjoyed knitting slippers for her family, bingo, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Wife of the late Stephen Frankosky. Dearest mother of Diane (Michael) Golonka of Missouri, Alan (Gail) Frankosky and Dale Frankosky, both of North Tonawanda. Proud and loving grandmother of Douglas, Megan, Molly and Melissa Golonka, and Alan S. and Stephen Frankosky, and great-grandmother of Cole and Lilly. Dear sister of Valencia "Lolly" Wright of Florida and the late Louise Kalinowski and Alfred (Helen Drake) Proch. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on WEDNESDAY, January 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where prayers will be offered on Thursday at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM. Flowers graciously declined. Memorial gifts may be made in Virginia's honor to O.L.C. Church.
