Shirley E. Montei

KENMORE — Shirley E. (nee Welch) Montei, age 88, of the City of Tonawanda, Friday, November 23, 2012, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, under the care of Hospice. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was the wife of the late Allan B. Montei and mother of the late William A. Montei. Shirley was a lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and had been employed by Spaulding Fibre Co. for 42 years.

Dear mother of Linda Volmrich of North Tonawanda; devoted grandmother of Alyssa and Evan Volmrich; loving sister of Joan (late Edward) Tucker of Medford, NJ; the late Evelyn (late Jess) Parkinson, late Alice (late William) Mazuer, late Vince (late Ruth) Welch, late Duke (late Lorraine) Welch and the late Kathleen Godfrey. Dear aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date to be announced. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Arrangements by John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., Tonawanda, NY.
