Anne M. Heft

BUFFALO — Anne M. Heft (nee Farrell), of North Tonawanda, age 77, passed away December 8, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Heft was born June 7, 1935 in Buffalo, daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Farrell.

Mrs. Heft was a graduate of Tonawanda High School and Buffalo State College. Anne was an  active member of the Phi Upsilon Omicron Nation Honor Society.

She taught 7th and 8th grade at St. Francis School in Tonawanda. Once her two children were grown Mrs. Heft returned to work, this time at the Boulevard Mall, where she started in customer service and quickly became office administrator. Anne loved her job and the people she worked with.

Mrs. Heft was predeceased by her son, Andrew P. Heft, who passed away in 2003; and her brother, Thomas Farrell.

Beloved wife of Marvin T. Heft; mother of Laura Anne Heft; grandmother of Michael Daken; sister of Peggy Steckel of Bellings, MO; sister-in-law of Louann Beed.

There is no visitation. Friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM      Saturday, December 15, 2012, at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, in Tonawanda; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating. Inurnment in St. Francis Chapel Columbarium. If desired, memorials to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240, are preferred by the family.
