Richard J. Dziadzio

NORTH TONAWANDA — Richard J. Dziadzio, age 83, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal rest on July 5, 2012, following a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, he was born on March 9, 1929, son of the late Joseph and Antoinette Dziadzio. At a young age, he went to work along side his father at Buffalo Steel. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Dziadzio worked as bartender and manager of Eddie's. Mr. Dziadzio then worked and retired from the North Tonawanda School System. He was a former member of the 3rd Warder's Club. He could always be seen around town on his scooter. Mr. Dziadzio loved flowers and was an avid gardener.

Cherished and loved by his two daughters, Debbie Dziadzio of Albany and Kris Bennett of Spokane, WA; grandsons, Jason Dziadzio of Buffalo and Michael Bennett of Middleberg, FL; four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Abbie, Anthony and Ethan; sister, Mary Seaver; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends may call on SUNDAY from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., where services will follow at 8 PM. Private Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice of Buffalo.
