Clyde W. Serbert

NORTH TONAWANDA — Clyde W. Serbert, 88, of North Tonawanda, Saturday (March 2, 2013). Mr. Serbert was born in North Tonawanda on January 13, 1925 to James and Catherine (Hardy) Serbert. Clyde, a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, was a retired truck driver and a 55-year member of the Sweeney Hose Company #7. In his spare time he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, and also enjoyed driving stock cars. Clyde was predeceased by his wife, Leona (Hill) Serbert.

Mr. Serbert is survived by his six children, Roy, Sharon Hepp, Clyde (Susan), David (Lisa), Cathie and the late Patrick (Eve) Serbert; also surviving are 12 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren; predeceased by his two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013,  at 10 AM from White Chapel Memorial Park. Arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home.
