NORTH TONAWANDA —
Alexandra T. "Alice" (nee Piech) Kopczynski, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life Friday, February 8, 2013, in her 90th year. Born in Buffalo, NY, Mrs. Kopczynski resided in North Tonawanda for 58 years. She was a member of The Bishops Council of Laity. Mrs. Kopczynski enjoyed cooking, antiquing, craft shows and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Polish family traditions were very important to her.
Wife of the late John F. Kopczynski, Sr. Dearest Mom of John F. (Carol) Kopczynski, Jr. of North Tonawanda and Deacon Michael R. (Marlene) Kopczynski of Nashville, TN. Proud and loving Nana of Karen (Ian-John) D'Souza of Tampa, FL, John F. Kopczynski III of Los Angeles, CA, and Kevin (Toffie) Kopczynski of Woodside, CA; and great-nana of four great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Emily Fudala, Steven, Frank, Edward and Leo Piech. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on SUNDAY, February 10 from 4 to 8 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271). Family and friends are asked to gather at St. Christopher R.C. Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on MONDAY at 9:30 AM. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Flowers graciously declined. Memorial gifts may be made in Alice's honor to Infant Jesus Shrine of the Pallottine Fathers, 3452 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
