Mary Joan Butticci

NIAGARA FALLS —  

Mary Joan Butticci, age 76, of Niagara Falls, NY, currently residing in Las Vegas, NV, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 21, 2012. She was born on November 16, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Samuel Butticci; father, Joseph Scozzafava; mother, Frances (Sgroi) Scozzafava; and brothers, Ralph (Carol) and Michael (Loretta) Scozzafava. Beloved mother of Ronald (Sandra) Butticci of North Tonawanda, NY, and Brenda Butticci of Las Vegas, NV; loving grandmother of Lindsey, Danielle and Katelyn Butticci; as well as many other family members and friends.
Joan was a devoted wife, loving mother and wonderful friend. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, watching baseball, playing cards, going to dinner and watching movies. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at St. Amelia's Parish, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda, NY 14150. Family and friends are invited.
