Lois Ruth Everett

WHEATFIELD — Lois Ruth (Stange) Everett, age 81, of Wheatfield, was called home to her heavenly Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Crestwood Assisted Living Residence, after a five-year stay. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, on January 19, 1931 to the late Paul and Ruth (Holland) Stange.

She was a high school graduate and devoted friend. Lois was united in marriage to Howard Everett on September 16, 1950 and he was called home on January 20, 1994. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda and was a longtime former member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda. Lois was also a longtime member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company-Ladies Auxiliary, Wheatfield Senior Citizens, and served as president on the Crestwood Resident Council. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed traveling, playing cards, gardening, ceramics,but her greatest love was spending time with her family.

She was the loving mother of three children, Deborah (Paul Pignatora) Hall of Cheektowaga, Keith (Rebecca) Everett of Grand Island and Lynne (Richard) Siegmann of Wheatfield; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Christman, Michael Hall, Jason, Justin and Joshua Everett, Samantha (fiancee Michael Schimshack) Siegmann and Lindsay Siegmann; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Victoria Christman; and also survived by her wonderful friends and staff at Crestwood.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer, on Friday, February 10th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Crestwood Volunteer and Partnership, 2600 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 or to the Variety Club Of Buffalo Children's Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc., 193 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14202.
