Clara M. Pearl

CITY OF TONAWANDA —  

Clara M. (nee Long) Pearl, age 96, of the City of Tonawanda, February 23, 2013 at Northgate Manor in Wheatfield. A resident of Tonawanda for more than 55 years, she was the wife of the late Frank Pearl; and daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Long.
Clara had been employed by the YWCA of the Tonawandas for many years and also worked at Millard Fillmore Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening and making quilts that she donated to friends, neighbors and area nursing homes.
She is survived by five children, Ronald (Kathy) Pearl of Steamboat Springs, CO, Sharon (the late James) McNulty and Cynthia Mask, both of Tonawanda, Frances (James) Hartel of Franklin, NY and Keith (Eliane) Pearl of Denver, CO; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Eva, Loretta, Greta, Peg, Rena, Helen, Harold, Howard, Edmund and William.
There was no prior visitation or funeral service. A private interment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., Tonawanda, NY.
