Raymond C. Decker, age 69, of North Tonawanda, February 28, 2013 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Raymond was a 30-year employee of Niagara Cutter. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #2163 and a 35-year member of the Live Hose Co. He enjoyed bowling and woodworking.
Beloved husband of Marlene (Heigl) Decker for over 30 years; father of Michael (Darla) Decker and Dawn (Dave) Sowell; step-father of Sandra (Tom) Parris and Dawn (Tom) Heigl-MacKay; grandfather of Nicole and Jeremy Decker, Meagan and Noah Sowell, Shawn, Corrine, and Joseph (Tiffany) Parris, Victoria (Donald) Parris-Tireman, Russell Parris and Al Burdick; great-grandfather of Sylear, Kayla, and Thomas Parris; brother of Patricia Richard and Kathy Barron. Also survived by his loving cat, Whiskers.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Saturday from 2-4 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
