David C. Roberts

NORTH TONAWANDA —  

David C. Roberts, age 74, of North Tonawanda, January 27, 2013 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. David was the Plant Manager for the former Roblin Steel Co., retiring after 27 years of service. David was an exceptional football player and enjoyed watching North Tonawanda football games. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching his grandsons play youth sports. He was the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Roberts.
Beloved husband of Arly (nee Proefrock) Roberts. Dear father of Guy (Regina) Roberts of Wheatfield, Paul Roberts, Thomas (Kathy) Roberts and Mark Roberts, all of North Tonawanda. Grandfather of ten grandchildren and three            great-grandchildren. Brother of Larry Roberts of North Tonawanda and the late Donald Roberts.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Wednesday from 5:00-6:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 6:30 PM, the Rev. Dr. A.W. Moldenhauer will officiate. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
