Lawrence Edward Liput

NAPLES, NY — Lawrence E. Liput, age 65, was carried home in the arms of the angels on Jan. 19, 2013. Larry was a loving son of the late Edward and Cecilia (Baran) Liput. He was a past Fire Chief at the Brighton #5 Fire Hall in 1976 and 1983. A skilled mechanic, he enjoyed working on his classic cars. A true friend and fantastic brother, he generously shared his talents and time helping    others.  

Larry was a beloved brother of Lorraine (Tom) Power and Joyce (Charles Boyle) Gallagher; an uncle of Beth, Anne, Jim, Ellen, Lynne, John, Nancy, Mike, Sarah and Matt; a nephew of Jean Michalek; a grand-uncle to 17; a cousin to many and a close friend to the Emmons family.

Burial will be held in the spring at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a Mass in his name or any animal shelter.
