Thomas "Moe" Rollain

CITY OF TONAWANDA —  

Thomas "Moe" Rollain, age 78, of the City of Tonawanda, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital. A resident of Tonawanda for more than 60 years, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Irene (nee Reisdorf) Rollain; and was the brother of the late Robert, Hazel, Flora, Catherine and Andrew. Moe retired at the age of 41 and has been a man of leisure ever since.
He is survived by four children, Robert (Sandy) Rollain and Rhonda Rollain of Tonawanda, Ronald (Deborah) Rollain of Denver, CO and Douglas Rollain of North Tonawanda; fifteen grandchildren, Robin (Seth), Rochelle (Adam), Nancy (Eric), Matthew (Gabycita), Justin (Patricia) Samuel (Stephanie), Abigail (Joe-PJ), Melissa (Daniel), Joshua (Christie), Jessika, Lauranne, Christina, Josiah, Jordan and Jasmine and nine great grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Philip (Suanne) Rollain of North Carolina, Irene Gunter of Florida, Evelyn Rollain of North Tonawanda, Joseph (Sharon) Rollain of Wilson, Margie (Robert) Brauer of Tonawanda and Frederick (Sue) Rollain of Pendleton; and his best friend, Sheila McGuire of Tonawanda. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday from 3-7 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 7 PM on Monday evening following the visitation. The Rev. Andrew Abraham will officiate. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Buffalo Foundation, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
