Marilynn J. Border

CITY OF TONAWANDA — Marilynn J. (nee Favorite) Border, age 67, of the City of Tonawanda, Friday, March 8, 2013, at her residence. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was the daughter of Larry and Evelyn (nee Lyons) Favorite; and was the sister of the late Larry Favorite. A 1963 graduate of Tonawanda High School, Marilynn had been employed by Murray Furniture and also Roberts Furniture in North Tonawanda for many years. Her love of her life was her grandchildren and family Disney adventures.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas G. Border; two children, Robin Border of Tonawanda and Christopher Border of North Tonawanda; her grandchildren, Katherine and Nathaniel and her brother, Vincent Favorite of Meadville, PA. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Marilynn's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 14th from 4-7 PM at Tonawanda Church of Christ, 35 Summit St. (corner of Delaware St.), in Tonawanda, where a memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 Thursday evening, following the visitation. Rev. Kenneth D. Wood will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P.O. Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240. Arrangements by John O.
