Robert M. Brachmann

NORTH TONAWANDA — Robert M. Brachmann, "Bob", age 94, of North Tonawanda on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, after a long illness. Robert was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church and presently Our Lady of  Czestochowa. Bob worked for Tonawanda Iron Works and then Anaconda Brass until his    retirement. He loved woodworking, camping and helping his son and grandson with their race cars. Bob was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.

Husband of the late Marion (nee Hy) Brachmann; and father of the late Nancy Barber; and grandfather of the late Victor J. Perez and Marie Barber.

Beloved father of Claire Perez, Mary Murdock and Michael Brachmann. Brother of Norman Brachmann. Proud grandfather of Yvonne T. Perez, Leonard M. Perez, Elizabeth A. Perez-Clanahan, Rebecca J. Perez, Robert A. Perez, David R. Perez, David Barber and Chad and Corey Brachmann. Great-grandfather of Holten, Kerian, Paxton and Wade Clanahan, Jessica, Kaylan and the late James Michael Perez, Sophia Lopez-Davis, Chase, Collin, Olivia and Sophia Brachmann. Great-great-grandfather of Olivia Davis.

Friends received by the family on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church on Saturday at 11:00 AM (please assemble at the church), followed by interment with military honors at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
