Marilyn J. Boehnke

TOWN OF AMHERST — Marilyn J. Boehnke (nee Broecker), age 78, of the Town of Amherst, unexpectedly, October 24, 2012.  Marilyn was a member of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church, E. Felton St., in North     Tonawanda. She was an avid Buffalo sports fan.

She was the wife of the late LeRoy Eugene Boehnke. Beloved mother of Mark (Sherri) Boehnke of Wheatfield; Eric Boehnke of Amherst; Adam (Diane) Boehnke of Amherst; Esther (Patrick) Hemingway of Manchester, CT; and Marla (Richard) Kelly of Amherst. Grandmother of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Sister of Phyllis (late Robert) Tokarczyk of Michigan; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM, from St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd., the Rev. Devie Ellis will officiate. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Martin Lutheran Church. Guest register available at frettholdfuneralhome.com.
